Fruit of the Spirit Lesson Plan Faithfulness & Blueberries

This week's co-op lesson fell on the week of Easter so I decided to talk about faithfulness. With just five students, our small group has become such a close-knit little community, and this week was a reminder of how much they are growing. We’ve been walking through the Fruit of the Spirit together, and this week we focused on faithfulness. It felt so fitting to talk about during Easter week. We discussed what it means to be faithful in our own lives. Keeping our word, showing up for others, and trusting God even when things feel uncertain. I always try to engage the children, by asking them for examples of faithfulness.

Each student collected their seventh fruit magnet. These have been such a fun milestone in our journey through the Fruit of the Spirit! I always give them the option of painting or coloring the magnet and I love seeing how different each one turns out! They’ve been so proud of these little markers each week, and it’s been wonderful to watch their collection grow right alongside their understanding.

This week, we played a Bible themed matching game, which quickly became a favorite! The kids had so much fun, I said I would bring it aging next week! For our craft, we created a watercolor cross. I love making these, it's such an easy craft for littles that always turns out great! They were absolutely beautiful, each one turning out unique. It was a peaceful moment in our day, giving the kids time to reflect while creating something meaningful to take home.

I’m so thankful for this little class, these five precious students, and the opportunity to plant seeds of truth each week. I can’t wait to see how they continue to grow.
